Christina - > Living My Childhood Dream -> Weight Loss - Week #1
Weight Loss - Week #1

I didn't do as well as I thought I would have, seeing as this is my first week back on Weight Watchers in quite a few months.  I did some great things, and some not so great things.  For example, I made 4 new low point meals for dinner that I found on the Weight Watchers website, but they tasted so good that I ate entirely too much of them.  I stayed on program somedays, and other days felt completely off. In spite of my mistakes, I am 4.2 pounds lighter this week :) I would love to celebrate by ordering pizza tonight but that would be self-defeating. So we're having garlic chicken with brown rice and broccoli.  Update again in about 7 days!!

Don't discount your hard work!  Great job!  4 pounds is a great beginning...keep it up!  enjoy the yummy sounding dinner...maybe you will share the recipe?

BTW, how is your toe?

I would love to lose 4.2 pounds and have it be a not-so-good week.  :-)   that's great!

Thanks for the credit guys :) First week of weight loss is always big, I know it won't always be that way.

And here's a link to that recipe, I like things bold and spicy so I had to add a couple of things to make it that way, but otherwise I enjoyed it and so did my kids! I also added red and green bell peppers to it.  You can't C&P on ww.com so here's another link:

Sonya - sorry I haven't written you back. My toe is terrible, the bruising is going down my foot so I'm starting to doubt it's a broken toe. So glad my dh is coming home tonight so I can have at least a few minutes of rest this weekend. :)

Way to go! That's a great starting point!

I have been so unmotivated lately, even though I know one of these days I'll have to put my swimsuit on. I didn't even weigh in this week. :P I know it will not be good.

i think you're doing great!  4 plus pounds in one week is a huge thing.  i totally understand eating TOO much of a good thing.  after about a year or more of doing that, i've finally just cut back on how much i'm cooking to begin with.  it's helped.

are you kidding?  that's great!  I think we all wish we could lose 4 lbs. in a week!
