I need a Youth Athlete of the Month!
Yikes! I thought I had one, but coming down to the wire, it would appear that I have no athlete to honor with a FREE $50 gift card in our upcoming issue of The Southwest Voice! Do you live in Southwest Bakersfield? If you would like to nominate your little sportster for our monthly contest (and really help me out this week!), go to The Southwest Voice web site TODAY. :) The title is just "Youth Athlete of the Month," and don't forget to upload a photo of your athlete and the name of the person nominating him or her. Dana, I don't have a young athlete to nominate, but noticed from this blog that you are the editor of the Southwest Voice. Let me know if you all are doing a special on weddings (I would love to contribute articles and images). We would love to contribute images (kids/families & such) for any issue. *Oh, forgot to mention we do photography www.solorzanophotography.com ! Hope you got a few nominations! Ok, I will let you know if that's ever a topic we will cover. In the meantime, if you ever have any birthdays or celebrations, you could submit photos for that (with a short message), and those will make it to print! High school graduations are around the corner, and I'm sure people will want to wish grads congratulations, too. posted by
