Thatta-girl! Takin' care of business!!

I am in full support of this kind of action. People don't really stand-up for themselves. Your kid should receive a lot of praise. I, for one, am notorious for involving myself in situations such as these (the acting, not the praising of other people's kids). Amusement parks, movie theaters, restaurants,etc. Those places are ripe for standing-up. For a while my wife wouldn't allow me to go to the movie theater because I would confront people who were ruining the films for everyone else. Have you ever been in a theater when not only does someones phone ring but they also answer it?! Well, I walk over to those people and politely tell them exactly where they should take their call. Or have you watched a film and some punk in the back makes numerous loud comments? Well, I would over to those people and I ask them to refrain from talking as I paid at least $20 to hear what the actors in the film are saying. Needless to say this strategy isn't with its drawbacks and my upfront and direct manner has lead to several near confrontations (usually more so with younger folks as they seem to have something to prove), but overall I found that the offender usually stops the annoying activity and the rest of the film progresses well (in a lot of situations other nearby movie goers usually second my comments and the crowd wins over). As I like going out with my wife I have learned to hold back and respect her wishes. If more people stood-up for these things at your daughter's age a lot of these situations would not occur as these kids become adults, so ho-rah for your daughter!
