WAY TO YOUNG TO FEEL THIS OLD

I sit here entering this blog feeling like I should have blue hair and 50 cats. My oldest ( but actually my baby), the one I  gave birth to, gave up a girlish figure for, nurtured, watched grow in so many ways....... has turned 13. Im just sitting on the side lines now waiting for the TEEN DEMON to take over my littel angel. Why is it I never feel older on my birthday, but I feel like an antique on my kid's birthday. Am I alone here?

Nope, not alone at all. I swear I don't know how my oldest got to be almost 17. Is she actually a junior in high school? How does all this growing happen when I stay so youthful?! LOL
