Hello, everyone, I'm Louis Medina, faith and families general assignment reporter for The Bakersfield Californian, but on this site, my user name is LouieLou. Anyway, we, The Bakersfield Californian family of publications — Web-based and print — are very excited about the new baby in the family, RaisingBakersfield.com. Proud parent The Bakersfield Californian can't wait to boast to the community (in its print pages, of course) about this new Web site, which we know will come in handy to lots of local parents, especially those raising smaller kids and newcomers to the area who want to network with other parents. Everyone, please, don't be shy--Louis won't bite. :) He's really nice! Drop him a line thru "send a message" and let him know what you think of the site. (And if he doesn't get back to you right away, he will, he's just going on vacation for a bit, lucky guy!)
