The advice is working!
Well you guys... I just wanted to let you know that I took your advice on "ways to organize my daughter's room", and it worked. I put some tubs in her room for toys and books and she has a blast cleaning. I have also been putting stars on a chart for her for every time she cleans her room and she is so excited! Wow! Was my mind blank or what? I had been trying to discipline her with a nutshell for a brain. :) Thx u guys! 1 comments from 1 users

YAY!!! :) Sometimes we just need a fresh perspective....Glad to hear it has worked! She sounds like my oldest....pretty strong willed (just like I am).....I found that if I use the Mary Poppins theory with him, it's much more pleasant! My dear, sweet husband has reminded me more than once that I would not like to be disciplined (or chastised) for not cleaning to his satisfaction....So, the boys appreciate a little fun and forgiveness in their cleaning routines too! ;) Happy Wednesday!
