Kids jokes

I just read someone elses blog on here who mentioned a couple of the jokes her kids like to tell.  It is funny how really awful jokes can be really funny coming from your kids.  Especially if they don't make any sense.  We've tried to teach Z-rock the knock knock joke that ends 'orange you glad I didn't say bananna?'  She loves to tell it, but this is her version:

-Knock knock

-Who's there?

-bananna

-bananna who?

-BANANNA!!

At this point, she starts laughing hysterically.  I wonder what other kinds of not-quite right or just plain 'don't make sense' jokes your kids have told.

sheeky, too funny! because when i was telling the other knock knock joke i was going back and forth between the one i wrote and the banana one.  but even better, that's exactly where my son leaves off!!! he shouts banana too and then laughs.  and we try to encourage him to finish the joke with the orange part and he just  laughs and laughs.

here's another one ethan can't get right (laughs before the punchline):  Why did the lamb get sent to jail?  Because she was BAAAAAAAAAAAD.

Ethan says the punchline like: Because she was naughty and didn't listen to her mommy.  HA HA HA HA HA.

I tried to teach my son the knock-knock joke that goes....

Knock Knock

Who's there"

Lettuce

Lettuce who?

Lettuce in it's cold out here!

But, he always seems to get it messed up & will either say Salad or Celery....but, he still gets the punchline semi-correct.  He'll say "Salad us in it's cold out here!" or "Celery us in it's cold out here!"  Even though he gets it wrong sometimes, our family & friends seem to get a bigger laugh out of his way. :-)
