T.P.

I realized something about purchasing toilet paper yesterday.  I don't mind buying it, but only in the right circumstances.  Allow me to exlpain:

See, when you are out getting essentials at Target, possibly even the grocery store, and you get TP, to an outside view it simply looks like another person stocking up on the essentials like we all do.

However, if you buy TP, and only TP, it sends a completely different message.  To an outside view, THIS scene says at best - you did not plan well;  and at worst - there is some kind of emergency which we would rather not think about.  It says that you are trying to recover from an embarrasing mistake, even if none of these things are true.

But then, I tend to over-think things.

I never would have thought that.  You are funny.

I agree whole hearted. I think the same applies to basically any personal hygiene item when purchased alone. That is what makes Costco a great place for certain items like TP.

ROFLMAO.

Now, if you were ONLY buying TP at Costco, that'd be even funnier.

Or a Costco pack of deoderant, by itself.

Heh.  I crack myself up.

You ever notice you can buy like a 12-pack of pregnancy tests at Costco?  Anyway...  ;-P

yup, thats what I was going to say.  Its an even WORSE case scenario if you are seen with a cart full of 100 rolls of toilet paper at Costco.  This doesn't just say that you were poorly prepared, it says that someone at your household seriously needs to see a doctor, and perhaps you should also be buing bulk cleaning supplies.

you're hilarious!  this is so true.  i'm just remembering last week when we were rationing our TP so we didn't have to make a special trip just to get more.  glad that didn't happen now.  would have felt judged!  :)
