Can we post out of town activities, family related events (like family fun days, not an actual family members only event) and such? 4 comments from 2 users

Hi We4do4H! Do you mean post them to the event calendar, or post about them in your journal or scrapbook? We currently don't have an event calendar category for out-of-town events, but that might be a good idea to take under advisement. How far out of town are you talking about? If it's a Kern County or nearby event, then it's appropriate for the event calendar. And as far as target audience, if it's something that could be of interest to parents, kids, or families as a whole, it's fine--it doesn't have to be marketed solely as a "family" event. Now, on your own journal, you can write about whatever you want--what you're doing this weekend, for example, where you're going, a recommendation for a trip, etc. Does that help? And don't forget, you can contact me directly about site issues or questions via emailas well. posted by

It's a 4th of July parade here on our little mountain and then a family fun day, games & activites and bake sale, right after the parade. It's roughly an hour and a half drive up here from Bakersfield. posted by

Go ahead and submit it as an event! And I hope you write about it on your journal before the event and after as well, and post some photos to your scrapbook! posted by

I might bounce some ideas off the other readers, since I'm the brain child/coordinator of this wonderful little event! Thanks The 4H mom who bleeds green!
