A Well Kept Secret

Last week we headed over to Campus Park North to meet a friend and her son.  My friend had told me several times that we needed to go to that particular park.  I wasn't as enthusiastic as she;  we usually go to the Riverwalk park, and we really like it.  It was kind of one of those "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" type things.  (Perhaps change for me is truly harder than I admit?)

Well, here's my verdict:  double thumbs up!    We loved it!  The slides are huge, the rock climbing wall is a unique park feature, and the playground area is large.  Also, it wasn't nearly as crowded as Riverwalk is.  We highly recommend you and your kids try it out.

*There are no restroom facilities at the park.  So, unless you're friends with someone across the street, plan ahead!

where exactly is that park at?  We are always either at Castle Park, not the greatest and no bathrooms, but close, or Pin Oak Park.  We're always up for something new.

nevermind, I found it.  And it's like 30 seconds from Pin Oak, where we're at all the time.

That park is so nice!  We had an evening picnic there last week.  Key word here vs. Riverwalk:  shade.  :)

I would think the city would build a restroom at every park. Seems like an important amenity :)

That looks like fun! We should try a trip over there before it gets too hot to enjoy the park anymore!
