Trout
This has nothing to do with raising kids except for the fact that I do want my daughter to taste our local fish. I've lived here most of my life, and when I was younger I used to fish with my dad. But I don't want to fish right now; I just want to eat the fish, rainbow trout that is. (Not that anyone can fish in the Kern right now -have you seen how muddy it is?- so sad!) Anyone know of a restaurant here in Bakersfield that serves Rainbow Trout? 3 comments from 3 users

Last summer, I got a package of whole butterflied trout at Costco, stuck lemon slices in the cavities, and grilled them whole. Yum! Guess it's time to do that again--wanna come over? :) posted by

We are going to Balch Park this weekend, Maybe if they stocked well this week, We will be able to spare a couple. I'll let you know. posted by
