A Wonderful Report
For those of you who don't know, my niece has lupus, and as a result, she has been in kidney failure for some years now. In July, her miracle came, and she received her transplant. Update- My niece went for her weekly check up down at UCLA, and the doc said the kidney is working wonderfully. She is healing faster than anyone the doc's seen before. In fact, she was released from all restrictions. She doesn't have to wear the mask anymore. She can go to work and school now. She's free to live. When the doc gave her the good news, she said, "I want a birthday swim party!" Oh, yeah, baby, you bet! Her bday is this month, and it is certainly worth celebrating!!!
