After being tucked in tonight- Kiddo (yelling): Mo-om!!! (pause as she waits for a response) Mommmmmyyyyyyyy!!!!! I need you to come here. Me: What, honey? Kiddo: Come here! I need something. Me: Just tell me what you need. Kiddo: I . . . Uh . . . I need . . . Uh . . . What do I need, Mommy? Me: (giggling) You just need to talk to me. Goodnight, sweet girl. Kiddo: Goodnight, Mommy. So cute. Sometimes I still need to talk to my Mommy! My almost-seventeen-year-old daughter insists on still calling me Mommy. I am not arguing with her! :-)
