Usually the kids area out of the pool by the time I get home from work but I the other day I got to play with them. Well they played in the pool and I took some photos before I jumped in. No surprise here in Bakersfield, they love the pool. Nothing like jumping in after work when it's close to 100 degrees! Also, just as a general observation, our pool has been noticable cooler this year compared to last year. It seems like last year there was a long stretch where the pool was way too warm to get much of a cool down. It was more like taking a bath :). This year it's been great through the whole summer! Everyone have a great weekend!! Oh and of course I have to show off a few pics of my beautiful daughter. I can't help but be a proud daddy. There was just one of my son, he's pretty cool too :).

I'm new to this site so am still finding my way around. But I wanted to share a few photos from our recent trip to Canada. I love to share photos but it gets time consuming to keep up with the website and blog and forums like this. I love it all though and it keeps me on my toes and out of trouble (mostly). We usually go to Canada every year to visit relatives. On the good years we go in the summer, and not for Christmas when it's freezing! These are just a few snapshots from a day we went to the local zoo. Nothing like the San Diego zoo but the kids had such a great time! I hope to post more here soon and share some more photos as I get to them. Thanks for looking! Michael Campbell
