Just in time for Mother's Day

Today I feel joy and relief. I finally heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time. Now I know it's a real. As if the nausea, throwing up, constipation, missed periods and positive blood and urine tests weren't enough evidence.

I'm due Nov. 21. If all goes well, Thanksgiving will be a VERY thankful time :)

The heartbeat did it for me too.

That is wonderful news! Congrats!

You are going to be a wonderful mom and I am happy you are sharing it with us on Raising Bakersfield. I hope you are feeling better!

My nephew was born on Thanksgiving at an Adventist hospital that didn't serve meat. So on Thanksgiving our family had "Tofurkey" with the fixings in the hospital cafeteria. It probably was the most disgusting thing I have ever attempted to eat. Now that he is 6 and can understand my jokes, I love sassing my nephew about how the whole family all ate hospital tofurkey for him. It has made every Thanksgiving since then extra special.

Congrats!
I too remember hearing my daughter's heartbeat for the very first time.  And I too was very sick!  And took lots of tests to confirm it.  :)
Wait until you feel your baby moving!
Here's to a joyful & thankful November for you!
