You can have my gas...
I'll decrease my demand for the addictive drug known as gasoline and then maybe the price will drop a couple bucks for everyone else. Well, maybe not. I'm not that big an impact, but it will help my own bank account at least. I'm going to see how many days a week my car can stay parked in the driveway. I'm going to get back into biking and I'm looking for a bike trailer to haul my daughter around in, to and from preschool. I'll go out and buy one (for less than the cost of a tank of gas), but if anyone has one they are looking to get rid of, let's make a deal! If I ride the bike everywhere and my wife continues to ride the bus to work (only $30 for an entire month pass), we'll be doing even better than when gas was affordable! It's free renewable energy, not to mention I might actually lose those 15 pounds that are still holding on to me like Hillary holding onto White House dreams. Can't wait to get rid of 'em and move on! 5 comments from 4 users

:) HA HA - that was a great one with Hillary and the White House joke! I'm still laughing at the vision I have of her in my mind,,,,,throwing a temper tantrum like a 2 year old being told "no no"! I have to agree with you on this one! I was out today, the first time since Wednesday, and am sick to see that even Costco gas is $4.22 a gallon for the cheap stuff! UGH! I filled up last week at $3.99 a gallon (and it was over $57 for 14 gallons!) I am definitely limiting my driving this summer - and will walk or bike as much as possible, Althgouh, my bike trailer wouldn't hold my 100 or so pounds of two boys any longer....they will have to ride with me now! I think we'll be staying home once the heat hits - instead of paying nearly $5 a gallon for gas....if you don't have any luck with getting a bike trailer from someone online - check out the many gently used kids stores. Many will tell you if they have a bike trailer if you want to get the phone book and call. Good luck! posted by

I think by the end of July, "Nearly $5 a gallon" will be good. I think it's going to break $5 real soon. Crazy. I will definitely check out the gently used kids stores. Had not thought of that! Thanks! posted by

LMBO at your hillary joke :) I would loveto do the biking/walking deal, but it seems impossible when you don't live near ANYTHING but a just-opened Rite Aid. (soon to be Starbucks & JITB) it sucks, 'cause I could sure use the exercise! And the extra cash. posted by
