mr.oscat @ the tehachapi library june 18th 2008

We played at the library in Tehachapi last Wednesday. What a great group of seriously well behaved kids (and adults too, i might add) We were truly impressed.  Kris, from the library staff, tells us that they can draw up to 250 people for their Wednesday afternoon shows. Afterwards, we went to old town pizza for dinner (yum) and had a grand time . We cannot wait to go back. We posted some pictures in the scrapbook area of rb.com. btw - we're playing at the southwest branch in Bakersfield in July and can only hope for a repeat of this day. ---- olen (mr.oscat)

i do understand that.... i wanted to get back to playing so bad (without the drunks, crummy bars and late nites....), i'm sure i was driving Susan crazy.......and then i saw Dan Zanes on the tube. he inspired me to do this project.

Yay!! thanks for the information, too bad you aren't looking for a sax player - I'm married to one that could stand to get back into playing!

see you then!

Thanks Christina, it'll be fab to see you and yours - these three shows will be the last with the current format / setlist. we are in the process of writing/recording new material and we really would like to have a full band (still looking for that "right" dad-band bass player), but who knows?????? anyway, july 3rd, we are playing at the Shafter fireworks show, july 11th at borders bookstore, and, july 17th at the southwest branch library. times and addresses are on www.mroscat.com.  all these shows are FREE!!!! whoo-hoo!!!!! (a bargain at half the price, i suppose?)
