slogan
I like the name of Heather's blog: "I Have to Laugh or I'll Cry." I know we totally all feel like that sometimes. I am wondering how parenthood has changed your life and if you have a slogan to back it up.
Mine would be "I fight for life throughout the highs and lows" stolen from one of my favorite songs.
Come on now, don't be shy. 4 comments from 4 users

not necissarily about parenting alone, but when all of life seems to crash down and fill with stress, (since we seem to have a theme here) my lyric of choice is probably & nbsp; "I love it when rock bottom comes up and hits me, tests my faith and includes a bit of intrigue" Mostly it helps keep perspective.
Either that, or "It's the end of the world as we know it." posted by

I'll go with a song lyric too. My parenting slogan would be "Livin' on a prayer!" cuz I certainly can't shoulder the responsibility of raising these children without that kinda help. posted by

Hmmm...first one that comes to mind is "Is there life out there?" (outside of children, house and husband, lol) posted by

I don't really have a slogan, per se....but having kids has definitely changed my life - drastically! I think that I can relate to Heather's, as well as yours. Many times I find myself laughing....or I will cry, scream or bash my head against the wall! Somedays I think, "What were we thinking?!?" Otherdays, I love being the stay at home mom of two very active, healthy and intelligent boys. Multi-tasking is my middle-name! Parenthood has changed me for the better, I think. I recall sitting in my recliner with our first born just staring at him, sleeping. It seems like just yesterday, and it's been 6 years now! Time has flown by....it seems like he was just starting Kindergarten, now the school year is over!
