Recommend a dentist for my kids?
I'm looking for a dentist that can check my kids' teeth. Anyone have any suggestions? 7 comments from 7 users

I take my kids to Dr. Purdy's office and have no complaints about them! Their clinic is on Stockdale Hwy... here's their website if you want to check it out before calling around... http://www.purdyskids.com/ posted by

To be honest, just about every single one of my mom friends, takes their kids to Dr. Purdy - as do I! :) We love their office, they have great entertainment there for the kids and the best part is that they start off slow with the first appointment and gently work them into the cleaning and such.

Our family goes to Dr. Perry Jue on Commerce Center Dr. Dr. Phillips (his partner) is also very pleasant. (Turn at AAA and go toward Paragon). They are all amazingly patient and gentle with us all. I would recommend them highly! Also, I know Dr. Rolland Lam personally and he is FANTASTIC with kids! His family is part of our preschool co-op (SCNS) and he opened his office up to our kids for a field trip....20+ preschool aged kids! Very relaxed, introduced all the kids to his staff and did a little exam to familiarize the kids with his exams. (I have talked to a couple of families who go to Dr. Lam and they rave about him...only positive things!) I hope this helps. posted by

I recomend Dr. Launspach. The entire staff was so awesome that my son's first visit at 2 years old (only because he fell and chipped his tooth) was a piece of cake! I was amazed - he didn't cry once. posted by

I too recommend Dr. Purdy. I have a little one who is TERRIFIED of the dentist due to a visit to a really Bad one. Dr. Purdy and his staff worked with him to ease his feers and now I don't dread the trips to the dentist and I dont have to bribe him with items to go anymore.
