Foaming Soap Refill Recipe

My big boy is potty training! That means he is washing his hands--a lot--and his favorite soap to use is foaming hand soap. It is pretty expensive, and I hate to buy a new foaming soap bottle every time we run out. So, I went on the hunt for a recipe for a foaming soap refill. It works great! Here it is:

3 Tbsp. hand soap
2/3 cup warm water

Gently mix them together (do not shake!) and pour into foaming soap dispenser.

That's it!! Give it a try!

Congrats on reaching the biggest BIG BOY milestone!!  :)  Keep up the consistency and thanks for the recipe!  We use soap by the gallon....seriously!  So, the foaming refills would not work with us.  I usually buy the Costco size anitbacterial just to make sure we always have enough.  (I have found the boys mixing their own creations in the bathroom sink....soap, dirt, water, a little of this, a little of that....presto!)

One thing I learned with my boys, keep something in the car if you are out running errands, long drives (across town in traffic) that you can pull over and use as a urinal.....my oldest has a bladder the size of a pea and I have found that the glad ware containers are good for this....label it with a sharpie and keep it in a ziploc bag in the car.  That way, you don't have to worry about getting him out of the car safely and finding a bathroom (or trying to help him on the side of the freeway)!

WOO HOO - bye bye diapers!!
