Summer break at last!
Today is the first day of summer vacation- I get to spend the next two and some months at home, enjoying Abigail. She was born in August of 07, and I returned to teaching in November. It was difficult to send her to daycare, and despite all the reassurances that it would get easier, it never did. I've been looking forward to this time since I had to go back to work. Abigail's Nannie (my mother) presented her with her first popsicle yesterday... she managed to get most of it in her mouth, and to completely turn her face, hands, tongue, and shirt purple. I look forward towards more popsicles, swings at the park, and time spent with Abby. The joys of summer.
