A tree grows in Bakersfield
Eight years ago today my life changed forever, for the better. My sweet Sequoia was born, 4 weeks early and feet first. She has been a light in my life ever since. She is beautiful inside and out. A singer and dancer. An artist and animal lover. Compassionate, kind and a wonderful friend. I can't believe eight years have passed already. It has been a joy to watch her grow and will continue to be. She is a blessing in my life and the lives of all who know her.

Happy Birthday! I can't believe I'm going to be there in 2 1/2 years or so. Life passes so quickly when you have children. Of course, it's worth every second! posted by
