A tree grows in Bakersfield

Eight years ago today my life changed forever, for the better. My sweet Sequoia was born, 4 weeks early and feet first. She has been a light in my life ever since. She is beautiful inside and out. A singer and dancer. An artist and animal lover. Compassionate, kind and a wonderful friend. I can't believe eight years have passed already. It has been a joy to watch her grow and will continue to be.  She is a blessing in my life and the lives of all who know her.

Happy Birthday Baby!

Happy birthday Sequoia!  Eight years old!  Mine's 3, can't even imagine what she's gonna be like in five years!  Yikes!  :)

Happy Birthday! I can't believe I'm going to be there in 2 1/2 years or so. Life passes so quickly when you have children. Of course, it's worth every second!
