http://www.raisingbakersfield.com/home/Blog/bushelandapeck/26598 Last week we headed over to Campus Park North to meet a friend and her son.&nbsp; My friend had told me several times that we needed to go to that particular park.&nbsp; I wasn't as enthusiastic as she;&nbsp; we usually go to the Riverwalk park, and we really like it.&nbsp; It was kind of one of those &quot;if it ain't broke, don't fix it&quot; type things.&nbsp; (Perhaps change for me is truly harder than I admit?)&nbsp; Well, here's my verdict:&nbsp; double thumbs up!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; We loved it!&nbsp; The slides are huge, the rock climbing wall is a unique park feature, and the playground area is large.&nbsp; Also, it wasn't nearly as crowded as Riverwalk is.&nbsp; We highly recommend you and your kids try it out. *There are no restroom facilities at the park.&nbsp; So, unless you're friends with someone across the street, plan ahead!
