REAL fun - 3psinapod - pelly's Blog - Raising Bakersfield

I just want to say that FUN (Faith, Unity, Nuture) Sports is the BOMB! We took Zoe to her 2nd class last night & it was the cutest thing in the world. Zoe is in the itty bitty class (ages 3-4, I believe). This age group is new to organization and team play... which makes it all the more entertaining to watch. Zoe's coach, Jessica, did her best to get all the little ones on the same page. They learned to dribble, stop the ball with their foot, kick, make goals, taking turns, listening skills, and so on. And I have to say, trying to teach 3-4 year old how to play duck, duck, goose is so cute. I love it! I'll be sad when her class is over. And I know we all enjoy it. It's things like that that makes us feel like a real American family. We see our little one be so cute & try so hard all the while we're having a great time. YEA!

I actually interviewed the guy that does the program, and it seemed fine, but honestly I was thinking 'ah, its just some corny little program he threw together, probably only like 20 kids.' I was wrong. The program is really great, and there are like 650 kids involved in the program! I can't speak for the older levels, but it is dang cute watching the Z Rock try to figure out why she cant use her hands in this strange new 'soccer.'
