She said &quot;Happy May Day, kiss your sweetie.&quot; I'm not sure why, but we celebrated May Day... and many other random holidays. My parents love celebrating holidays. Now that we're adults, they'll often send cards or candy on these (not-so-important) holidays like May Day. When we were kids, we would make baskets of candy for our friends and neighbors. Usually we would drop the baskets at their front door &amp; run away. If we got caught, they would have to kiss us. Looking back- what a strange tradition. Did you do anything to celebrate May Day?
