I went with my son's kindergarten class on their field trip to CALM today. I realized that there are some times we need to just watch the kids from a step back. With his friends, he is in his world, and it is really cool to watch him be who he wants to be. So I didn't say much today like I normally would as a parent volunteer. I just enjoyed watching my son be a kindergartner. Remember when all you had to worry about was what kind of sandwich you got for lunch? We can't live that way anymore, but it is a lot of fun to watch our kids be so worry free. From left to right in the picture are Steven, Albert, Layton (my son), Reno and Alvaro. And they all couldn't be happier.
