The other day, while I was putting away laundry, I could hear my husband in the playroom reading with our kids. They were talking about shapes, counting the sides on a triangle and square, and discussing the colors of the different shapes in the book. At that moment, I felt content. Like my life was just as it should be, with my family spending quality time together, loving and learning together. I knew as soon as I finished the laundry, I would go in there and sit with them, poring over their new shapes book with them, enjoying their cute little voices and faces as they pointed to the pictures. I am so blessed to be able to enjoy moments like this.
