i asked my hubby for one thing this year...to read the book Bringing up Boys, since we have two of them now. to prove that he read it, i asked him to give me a short written synopsis of each chapter, i.e., the main point from each chapter. that's all i want. because it'll be the gift that keeps on giving if he adopts some of the principles in the book! other than that, i get all gourmet and cook my own brunch and usually some killer dessert. the restaurants are too crowded for me to enjoy myself and although my hubby would cook for me, i'm not up for the experiment!
