Something I started with family...give the boys savings bonds (or contribute to their college funds).... I think that's more worthwhile anyway, and it will keep the toys off the floor!  However, the kids still get so many toys for birthdays and other holidays.  I don't mind a few toys; but, it seems like overkill when they are strewn from one end of the house to the other!  I have tried to encourage one toy, with a donation to the savings fund!  Computer games are the big fascination for my oldest.  I don't mind if they play educational type stuff...but, I do have to limit the time on the computer or they will be there all day!   Kevin, save the unopened toys for the Toys for Tots drive, or donate them to the kids in Foster Care this year!  Or, you could also "re-gift them" to other kids in another family....just a few suggestions.
