I couldn't have said it better myself! I often feel this way...and the date with your husband (and a good tuck) will definitely make you feel better! ;D Although, the slip cover will remain a mess - I have resigned myself to the fact that nice furniture and children (boys who love to build houses out of pillows, run from one end of the livingroom to the other hopping from cushion to cushion....) are not a good idea. Once the boys hit 3rd grade, then we'll infest in better furniture. Until then, we'll just use the upholstery cleaner attachments on our steamer (a GREAT infestment) and try to teach them that furniture is not meant for jumping on, trampoline style flips, or any other kind of acrobatics!
