LOL! That is cute! My oldest, Lindsay, was very colicy at night. She was the same way - only sleeping if held. A neighbor gave me a video to watch called The Happiest Baby on the Block. That video SAVED MY LIFE! No joke! It went over how to calm the baby and get them to sleep - they call it the 5 S's. If you do them in order the baby is usually calmed down by the 4th S - which was the Shhing sound. Instead of a vacuum I used a hairdryer pluged next to my glider. I just had to reach down turn it on and point it to the ceiling - Lindsay would finally go out like a light! My sanity was restored! If you are interested in the book or video search for it on Ebay.
