I'm the mother of two girls.  One just turned 13.  Wow.  And my youngest is 10.  I sometimes just can't believe how fast they grow. I started having kids late, compared to most moms I know.  I was 2 months shy of being 36 when my first daughter was born.  And then 38 when my other daughter came into this world.  I'm not sure if that's good or bad.  Some days, I think waiting was a wonderful thing, because I have the patience.  Other days I think it was a bad thing, because I feel I can't keep up with them.  I'm very lucky though, they are both very bright.  The oldest has won the Juliet Thorner Award in 6th grade and now that she's in Jr. High, she's holding a 4.0 GPA.  My youngest stays between Honor Roll and Principal's List. My husband works for Big West Oil and because of that I've been a stay at home mom.  I do get paid to take photographs for SNAP! Galleries at Bakersfield.com, and here too on...
