About Melissa
I am a new Mommy with a 4 month old baby boy! He and my husband are my whole world! My husband and I were married in October of 2007, but we have been together for 8 years now. We just bought our first house in August and moved to the Northwest side of town. I ran a large licensed family child care and preschool out of my home for almost 7 years until I got pregnant. Now I am a stay at home mom and love every minute of it! I plan on getting my license again though when my son gets a little older because I absolutely love my job and I know my son will get a lot of benefits from it. I am very lucky and very happy with my life!

Just wanted to say HEY, and find out how you and your family are doing. I am sure your son is keeping you busy. I hope your holiday shopping is going well. Over here on my end we have barley even started our shopping, and I am soooo dreading it. Normally I LOVE shopping but around x-mas, NO thank you. I just went out 2 days ago to shop for my daughter and while in the toy section, I had 3 different women and 1 guy, bump or hit my cart or myself. Some people are so rude they don't even say sorry. Anyway I hope your time shopping is a pleasant one and I hope you and your family are doing good.

That's great that your hubby is so protective of your son. Believe me if you had a girl I bet that protection would go up a few 100 notches, lol. I am soooooo over protective of my daughter. She already has boys chasing her. She has even asked about dating and how old she has to be before she can go out on her own with a boy. Woooo stuff I DO NOT want to deal with yet. I am sure your son will look very cute in his costume. That is a cute idea of you wearing the same thing. IS your hubby also going to dress up like the 2 of you? My daughter is still to young to go out on her own for trick or treating, I read in a parenting magazine that you should not let your kids go out on their own until they are 12. Man if she turns out to be anything like me when I was a kid, I should not let her out on her own until she is 20. I was always getting into trouble as a kid. Any-whoo the big day is tomorrow, and we cant wait!

Oh your son is soooooo cute!!! I love the pic with him sitting with all the pumpkins. How cute is that. I took my daughter to Murry family farms, she had fun there. She loved the maze. Are you going to dress your son up for Halloween? We love Halloween, trick or treating is so much fun. If I could still go door to door with a bag and say trick or treat I would. My hubby and I dress up every year and walk with my daughter in different towns, sometimes here and sometimes we go back where I am from and trick or treat out there, with some of my friends and their kids. We usually get invited to adult Halloween parties, of course my daughter does not go to those. Her gymnastics is having a party that I might take her to but were not sure yet. Hope you enjoy your parties.
