Raising Bakersfield

I just gave birth to my first child, Lily Jane, on June 27. She is the love of my life! I haven't done any blogging or sharing on any websites before, so this could be fun. I have enjoyed reading other pregnant women's posts so far.

I am extremely happy to be a new mommy. I am kind of old to have just had my first child and my fiancee calls me "ow, ow" because I was such a sissy about all the pains associated with pregnancy. But, I did not have any complications until I ended up having an emergency c-section, so I'm pretty blessed that everything turned out great! I have a beautiful, healthy baby girl!
