“Give me some Sugar!” Join Sally Warren, Kellie Lewis and Koral, as they demonstrate the science of candy making. You will learn how to make a few Holiday favorites, just in time for the holidays. Space is limited and reservations are required.

TheatriXX: Acting Workshop for Teens and Adults

Join the fun through self-discovery and build increased self expression in this actors workshop for beginners.

You will learn the basic techniques and skills of acting through improvisation and theatre games designed to expand your imagination, focus your concentration and build a believable character through secene study, stage movement and body language. All workshop members will work on scenes from well kown plays or movies, working with scene partners. This initial 8 week workshop will be ongoing for those with a serious interest in acting as either a hobby or career. Successfull workshop members will then present their scenes for an invited audience.

Saturdays, January 3 to February 21 (8 weeks)

Adult workshop (18 & up): 2:30 - 4:00 pm

Teen workshop (13 - 17): 4:30 - 6:00 pm

Fee: $95/$85 district residents

Storytime and Playdays (CCCC)

Community Connection for Child Care offers FREE Storytime and Playdays to Licensed and License Exempt Child Care Providers and the children they care for. A variety of children’s activities will be set up for EVERYONE to enjoy. These are low cost or no cost activities designed to help children learn motor, social, and language skills.
