Simply Manners is all about teaching young people basic etiquette and correct dining skills. One of the goals of Simply Manners is to impress upon parents and grandparents the importance of teaching good manners to their children. Good manners is also one of the key components of a young persons educational experience that prepares them to interact and participate in this global society where they will live and work. Good manners are like an enrichment additive that promotes a more healthy performance in their lives that will last a lifetime. The etiquette and dining skills classes are fun and interactive with role-playing exercises and a workbook that requires involvement of the students. This kind of involvement builds their self-esteem and raises their confidence level. The etiquette and dining skills classes also teach leadership skills. Young people become confident and comfortable in any social situation whether it’s introducing others, handshaking or dining at a fancy sit-down dinner. They feel empowered and in control because they know the correct way to behave at the table, from placing their napkin on their lap to which piece of silverware to pick up first. These are leadership skill that will be with them for the rest of their lives. Click here for more information about camp.
