Step back in time with costumed docents as your students participate in chores and crafts that filled the daily lives of early Kern County residents.Observe or participate in activities such as butter churning, clothes washing on a washboard, wool carding, blacksmithing, apple peeling and coring, rope making and more. Costumed docent led tours of the historic buildings at the Kern County Museum will make this a day that you and your students will never forget!
