About twogirlsmama

I am the Mama of two and have been a stay at home Mom for most of the past 8 years. I have been married for 14 years, and although we have taken a few 'breaks' here and there, we have recently reconciled after 18 months apart. Things are better than ever, and for that, God gets all the credit. I am a freelance writer when I can get the work; some of my credits include TBC, Bakersfield Life, as well as writing copy for Bakersfield's Vision 20/20 brochure/website. I am two classes into working on an MA degree in English, but am already starting to lose steam. Women who juggle work and school and family AMAZE me. I am a lightweight when it comes to multi-tasking, but I find taking a class keeps my intellectual juices flowing, which is good for an old Mom who doesn't get a lot of adult coversation on a daily basis...

There is a Mom's Day out at an Episcopal Church downtown. You may want to check them out.

Hey, I was thinking that when the older kids start school we should get together with our little ones. What are you guys doing for your soon to be 4 year old's Birthday? I thought about having a few kids over for Roman but I have not decided for sure. It sort of sounds like a lot of work. Over the Summer we had a big Indiana Jones B-day party for Evan and It was a lot of money and work. Roman had a lot of fun dancing with your little girl and is always asking me when we are going to see her again. Take Care, Karen

I bet we could come up with a bunch of crazy childhood memories! Let's get together sometime and take a walk down memory lane over coffee.
